Hi my name is Emily, I am 12 years old. Last year my Dad and I went to the Laconia World Championship sled dog race, some kind people let me help them harness their dogs and they gave me a web site (New England Sled Dog Club) to see if anyone would let me help them train their dogs. A few weeks later the Midnight Run Racing Kennel e-mailed us and said that I could help them train and that I could run a three Dog Junior team.

I started sled dog Training In the fall of 2008 and since then I have been to six races and raced in five of them.

I want to thank Michelle and Bill Boyd for giving me this opportunity. Because of their help and kindness I have had a wonderful opportunity to begin to learn about Sled Dog Racing.
